Hi

how much time gouldians need to breed after moulting?
thanks

I can't say they need any specific amount of time. My Gouldians would just sort of roll right into their courting and breeding cycle as they finished their molt. Best Wishes, Jeanie

Ive heard that birds after moulting some rest for at least 3 months, and if we don't respect that then we have troubles in breeding.

thanks Jeanie,

i had a female that was ready to breed in April,i haven't any male ready for her so she didn't breed, now she's moulting. You think she can breed again after the moult?

I think she will be up for breeding if you continue to give her the molting/breeding diet and if you have a male who is ready and wants to court her.

Best Wishes, Jeanie
