I have many Lady Gouldian finch pairs in separate cages

I have many Lady Gouldian finch pairs in separate cages. Please tell me the best room temperature for breeding success.

My room temperature is b/w 29 to 32 degree centigrade. Do they need sunlight or not.

In Pakistan there is no dried egg food available so what can I do if I want to give them the best protein?

thanx

BRINGING G-FINCH TO BREED
by: ASIF

I THINK GIVING THEM SUNFLOWER SEEDS AND VERY SOFT INSIDE LAYERS FROM CAULIFLOWER, AND GIVE THEM GREEN ALFALFA ALL THESE HAVE VITAMIN-E WHICH KEY FOR LIBIDO AND FERTILITY.

Thanks for your comment. Sounds good to me. Jeanie

33 - 35 degrees centigrade has worked well for me. Finely chopped hard boiled eggs provide the best source of protein. Insects will provide another good source, but none of my birds ever even tried to eat an insect.

Sunlight is very important for Gouldians, but if you do not have 14 hours of sun, I would suggest using full spectrum lighting. If that is not an option, using a sun lamp for about 30 minutes a day will suffice. Keeping the humidity above 50% will also improve your successes. Best of Luck!!
