Lady Gouldian Finch breeding how many pairs together?
I want to breed a few pairs of finches, but I first want to know if can you put more than one breeding pair of lady gouldains together.
What is your experience as a lady gouldian finch breeding expert - have you had more than one pair breeding in one cage - and did you have any success?
Colony breeding is a common practice. An extra large flight cage or aviary will be needed for adequate space if you are to succeed. Yes, I have tried that, but I far prefer cage breeding of single pairs. Less space is needed, record keeping is possible and things just seemed to go more smoothly with pair breeding for me.
Good Luck, Jeanie
